Unassuming little joint but affordable and solid with great service and a decent beer selection. Hit this joint up almost every time we're in Knoxville.

Our host/hostess/server Shaya really made our first visit memorable. Have been by SPP a million times but never stopped. We wanted pizza and beer this afternoon and randomly picked Sargent Pepper Pizza. The service and food was as good as it gets. Recommend the Buffalo cheese dip as a starter. We’ll recommend SPP to everyone and it’ll be our new pizza destination. Thanks Shaya and crew. See ya soon!

I love their Pretzel bread BLT. I have been getting since they opened, but don’t make it over there much anymore. The wait makes it that much better for me!

We’ve been in Knoxville 19 months now. This is the first pizza place that we’ve eaten at, where we’ve been willing to say we will go there again. The pizza crust was chewy, not too thin. It was very tasty. We had Half Mediterranean & half Popeye. Both sides were delicious ❣️ The husband had YeeHaw Dunkle & loved that too. The wife drank water, & drove home! Shaya was our super friendly wonderful waitress❣️❣️ Edit: This has become our go to pizza place. Our favorite is the Ally pizza. It’s addicting! We’ve brought several friends here. Everyone has loved the food, including my gluten free friend. We were shocked when she ate the whole pizza ( she’s skinny, & never eats that much)! She loved it! I do wish they’d put cc on the corner tv Dietary restrictions: The GF is great according to my Celiac friend Kid-friendliness: It’s a family place . Not fancy, & kids are welcome.

Best pizza in Knoxville! This place is a hidden gem. Quality of service and quality of pizza are both out of this world. My girlfriend and I loved it, and will be back regularly!

Don’t sleep on this place!!!!! Went to school at UT 14-18 and always saw Sgt Pep in the plaza. Moved back this year and was surprised to still see it open. Well, tried it today for the first time. Crust 12/10, sauce 12/10, toppings 12/10. Holy smokes, I ordered a 10in for myself. Should’ve gotten a big one. Staff is great and fast service. Will be my official pizza place now!!!

First time purchase, we bought a pepperoni pizza and an ally pie. They were excellent. The crust was tender, had a lot of flavor, perfect amount of cheese and toppings. We loved it. Best pizza yet.

Superb pizza stop! Fast, friendly and delicious. We walked in and the aroma brought back that childhood flashback of walking into a glorious pizzeria. No regrets on my 4th slice!
