A friend recommended, having lunch and we showed up here and out without reservation. We were probably seated. The decor is classy and truly Mediterranean with elements of architecture built into this modern concrete structure. The entrance with the mosaic of stonework is beautiful. We were going to have dinner, so I went for a late lunch and I ordered the Fattoush salad, which comes with lemon vinaigretteand sumac. For protein I chose falafel which served were hot and crispy. It was an excellent salad, but because I was working, I avoided having a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which will perfectly match with this combination of citrus sumac, vegetables and falafel.
Food: 4-5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: Formal casual Depending on the dish, it’s a 4-5. I thought the Mediterranean spreads were very tasty and flavorful (5/5). The Brussels sprouts and crab dip are a 5 for me. I personally really enjoyed the paella since I enjoy my paella with meats, but flavor wise, it wasn’t one of the top tier paella I’ve had. Pork chop and lamb were nice (4) and flavorful but not the top dishes for me. A ton of business clients and folks go for happy hour.
The shrimps in garlic sauce were very good. Not astounding but very good. The cream puff was very good. The strip steak was not good.... rather tough and the meat was not that flavorful. I had a tough time cutting through it and took forever to chew. Sad about that. Otherwise the service and atmosphere were very nice.
Really nice atmosphere and quick service. The skirt steak and fries are delicious.
