Food: I dream about that focaccia bread. It's soooo fresh and soooooo delicious, omg. Best I have ever had, I think. I also had the cavatelli alla sugo di agnello (cavatelli pasta w/ lamb ragu). It was so delicious, I ate the entire thing. It was saltier than it should have been, but still very much edible. I would definitely order it again. Drinks: If you're a beer person (which I am), they have a limited beer bottle selection, no drafts. The choices are very mid, so maybe plan to have wine or a cocktail instead. I had the house orange wine and it was really good. Atmosphere: Gorgeous. Thought went into the design and the decor. If you want rooftop views, this is your place. That said, if you tend to be cold all the time (like my mom, who was with me), wear some layers or something if it's less than 70* out. It gets very breeeeeezy up there and the heat lamps can only do so much. Service: Staff at the bar is really nice, personable and efficient. Staff at the hostess stand is .... not. I don't know if this is at the direction of management or what, but if you come in 1-1.5hrs before closing, good luck. The hosts will tell you that they can put you on a "waitlist" *eyeroll*, BUT they close in ~1hr so there isn't a guarantee you'll get a table in that timeframe... They absolutely take your number and put you on the list with ZERO intention of EVERRRR seating you. My mom and I ended up getting a seat at the bar by chance, thankfully. I walked to and from the bathroom a few times while seated and there were SEVERALLLL tables open throughout the restaurant BEFORE CLOSING, yet I never received a notification that a table was available. This misleading, time-wasting practice is hot garbage. This was my first time at a Consortium Holdings establishment, so I am not sure whether this is typical of them or not. All people want to do is spend money at your establishment--it takes nothing to treat people and their time with some respect. Just say you stop seating/taking names after X time. Problem solved.

Nada especial la comida, pero muy buena vista

I was told to do a walk-in since the next table was not until 830, we wanted to do dinner at 7 on a Wednesday. The host "Kristi" was really rude unconsiderate. I had to asked to be put on the waitlist and she never put us down for the next table. I never thought I would be waiting until 2.5 hrs to be seated. We were enjoying the views and having drinks. We were so hungry by the time we sat down and we ordered, got our food at almost 10pm and the pizza was dry, cardboard tasting. Little Cesar's back in the day pizza tasted better! The lead did give us a discount but this time but it was not a good experience and their host is not the friendliest

First off, Marie was our server and she was fabulous. The design and ambiance of this place is unmatched. The food was a match for the design. Marie made perfect recommendations based on our preferences, and I think that made all the difference in our experience. Will definitely be back; Seneca easily made its way to my top 5 in SD.

I came here to celebrate a birthday. The service was really slow (we barely saw our server), hostess wasn't very friendly, we got our food before our drinks arrived, and the pizza was not very good, I was honestly so disappointed because I had high expectations for this place. The view was really nice but we were seating near the kitchen. The restaurant is really nice so it you just want to take pictures and grab a drink then you’ll have a better experience.

Recently had the privilege to experience the service provided by James Republicano, and I must say, it was nothing short of awesome. Every moment was a testament to their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. The attention to detail, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the seamless execution of service were beyond amazing. It’s rare to come across such a dedicated and proficient team. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unparalleled service experience. A true gem!

Seneca is a cozy, modern restaurant in an elegant retro setting with a beautiful view and impeccable service. The menu is unique but not too crazy and still authentically Italian. We went there for lunch and ate way too much — focaccia, the Misticanza salad, Funghi Misti pizza, Lasagna Verde Alla Bolognese, Chicken Alla Diavola, and for dessert a special coffee cocktail. It was all so unique, fresh, and delicious. Bottom line, Seneca is perfect for a special celebration or date night, the view is one-of-a-kind, and no matter what you order, start off with the focaccia and Misticanza salad.

Great views. Awesome food. Friendly staff. Only reason for the 4 stars is because with a reservation we waited an extra 30 minutes foe our table. Another couple at the bar said they'd been waiting an hour past their reservation time! The pizzas are awesome. Drinks, good for a restaurant but not the best I've ever had.
