Sekai Sushi

Nice cozy place. Plates are very shareable. Great staff.

A friend and I had been regulars at Sekai for many years. We tried to go every other Friday and always enjoyed our time there. The waitstaff were amazing. Always would greet us, knew where we liked to sit, and knew our order. The other Friday we went to our favourite spot. At one point we noticed it was starting to get busy and we tried to drink our sake bombs a little faster (but we are not about to chug our drinks) As we were getting ready to leave, the manager came over and told us we were not welcome to come anymore on Fridays as they couldn't predict when they would get busy. Excuse me? We were shocked that despite being regulars we were asked to not come back just on Fridays incase it got busy? We were done eating when it got busy and could have moved to the bar to finish our drinks if asked, but we weren't. His solution was to tell us to not to come back on Fridays. Well guess what, we won't come back any day and will tell others to not come back. I've never been so disrespected for going to a place regularly.

It's small and tucked away, but definitely worth the effort to locate it. The sushi is excellent and the menu is huge. Come hungry.

I hadn't visited Sekai Sushi for years as I had been out if the are. It was like coming home! Great experience with delicious choices and great service. I introduced a friend to this great restaurant and plan to visit again soon. Parking: Mall location has lots if parking. Wheelchair accessibility: On the first floor. Tables rather than booths.

Kind service, good sushi. Nice calm ambiance. The parking lot is a bit ominous
