We love the Mercado San Agustin location. Yummy horchata and food. Love the outdoor seating.
Great food really liked this spot. Also, good servings
One of our very favorite places to eat in Tucson's San Augustin Mercado. The outdoor, courtyard dining has a wonderful atmosphere that complements the delicious food.
I really don't get the hype. I was in Tucson for a few days and was excited by both the reviews and the line leading up to order figuring this indeed was a good Mexican restaurant. Waited 20-30 minutes to order then about same to receive tacos. First and honestly place is just inefficiently run but the most disappointing part was that the fish tacos came with traceable amount of fish and less flavor then I am use to. Overall just disappointing. The highlight is their inner courtyard for eating in
Really disappointed in Seis the past year or two. They used to be one of my fave Mexican places (best breakfast burritos, and charming spot to take out of town visitors!). They have almost always gotten online orders wrong, so it's frustrating that this is now the only way to order. Even if you try to tell the phone bot that you'd like to talk to a real person, you can't connect to one. Your options for eating here are basically now only 1) through a robot, or 2) by going in person and waiting foreverrrrr. It's disappointing to see such a successful business resort to phone bots and online ordering instead of employing more people and focusing on customer service. I won't be frequenting Seis nearly as much now that it's so annoying to order from them. The food just isn't worth the $$$ and the hassle anymore.
Update from 2024: Sadly, the quality of the food has gone significantly downhill since the pandemic. These used to be the best tacos in Tucson, but now my friends and I agree they're pretty mediocre. They also removed some of their tastiest meats from the menu (RIP cochinita pibil). And prices are way up. It's unfortunate. The courtyard is still a nice atmosphere, but be prepared for long lines. Original pre-pandemic review: These are some of the best tacos I've ever had, and at very reasonable prices! The tacos and beans come with cheese on them, so ask for no cheese if you're lactose intolerant.
Fish tacos were wonderful. Great little market.
Best regional food I’ve ever had
