First and last time ordering from this place , rice hard and old the salmon I ordered is supposed to be grilled this salmon is burnt. And a little bit of tasteless Mac and cheese. $27? I won’t be back
Nice, cozy spot off the beaten path in Orlando. Nice Caribbean and Soul Food options on the menu. We had the ox tails & jerk chicken with mac & cheese, greens, cabbage, and rice and peas. Ox tails had great flavor, but for $32 bucks was a very small portion. Jerk chicken was decent I would have preferred the sauce on the side. All sides were great, especially loved the mac & cheese and cornbread. Food came out fast and the service was good. We would definitely visit again!
This place is interesting from the outside and from the inside you don't really assume much. But the food is amazing and always ready within minutes of placing the order! I'd recommend the brown stew and mashed potatoes!
Party of 11, came in right at open time...viewed menu and placed order, and food came out fresh and hot withing minutes! So tasty, all homemade!!! Support local, and don't sleep on this gem!
Food was check this place out if you in the area
If you're searching for a culinary adventure that combines Caribbean and soul food flavors, look no further than this (not so) hidden gem! Despite its casual, order-and-sit setup, the food here is nothing short of delicious. Our group ordered a mix of Jerk Chicken, Chicken Jerk Alfredo, and Salmon, and when the plates arrived, we were left speechless as we enjoyed the delicious flavors. Each dish had a perfect balance of spices that left our taste buds dancing with joy. But what truly made the experience memorable was the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff, who made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in search of delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere!
OMG THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I DIDN'T GET PICTURES OF EVERYONE FOOD BECAUSE NO ONE COULD WAIT A SECOND. JERK Alfredo pasta was great. Hot wings, shrimp and fries great. Oxtail, peas and rice, sweat plantains and greens AH MAZING!!!!! MUST VISIT
I tried this for the first time yesterday recommended by a friend that has been raving about it. This is a very nice restaurant and atmosphere. I can see it being the spot for some people. However, I have to be completely honest the fish and shrimp was unbearably salty. I love heavily seasoned food, but it was ridiculously salty. It’s like someone wasted the whole thing of salt in the batter or it could’ve been dusted on after making. The Mac and cheese was amazing. The greens were sweet like they used sugar so I did not care for them. So basically I paid around $25 for Mac and cheese. I couldn’t eat anything else. I do plan to go back and try other dishes since the menu is broad.
