It was good just not great

Quick & attentive service. Helpful, happy staff. We're glad we returned. We were celebrating a birthday. The birthday boy said he wanted seafood, but we don't know a lot of places to go. So, we returned to the Seafood Market & Restaurant for the second year in a row. My wife does NOT recommend the Trout. She thought it was dry, perhaps because it was so thin it cooked too fast. The Market Price for the two 4oz lobster tails was $60. My son thought they were good. He ate one and took the other home. My other son had the Sole. He absolutely loved it. He and my wife both agreed it was very moist and flavorful. My clam chowder and side salad were excellent. Of course, I had already filled up on appetizers -- onions rings and stuffed mushrooms. Overall we had a very pleasant evening.

My twin brother treated us to lunch. From previous reviews, I ordered the onion rings. Boy, that review was spot on!! Excellent! They had the Walleye Special and I had the Halibut Fish and Chips Special and that was awesome! But the best thing of all was our waitress, Trish(a)! She was at our beck and call and I have to say, one of the best waitresses we’ve ever had! Thank you! My brother wanted to treat my husband for work he’d done so I said I’d pay for my own meal. When it came time to pay the bills, this is what was in my server’s book from Trish(a): . That’s how great a waitress she is!

The oysters, crab cakes, and mussels were very good. Service was absolutely horrible. Seems they need training. Waiter never asked how food was, dumped a plate on the side of the table, and then totally ignored us the rest of the meal. Water not refilled, plates not taken before next course came. I had to ask the man who was bussing tables to remove items several times. Never asked if it was a special occasion. (It was my birthday). Of course, when we asked for the bill, it immediately showed up on table. My daughter normally tips 25%. She left a 15% tip. I wouldn't have left more than 10%. Too bad service ruined the birthday dinner. Oh, and their website advertisers happy hour prices. That's why we went early. Waiter stated there was no happy hour. Owners may want to remove that from the website.

Excellent dinner both service and food were great.

My husband & I went for dinner. I had the crabcake appetizer and he had the crab stuffed mushrooms, both of which were good. We both had the sautéed walleye. In my opinion, the seasoning on the walleye was a bit much. Walleye is not a strong tasting fish, so you don't need that much seasoning on it. I could barely taste the fish because the seasoning was so heavy... and a little too spicy. Although I would prefer just sautéing it in some butter, just lightening up on the seasoning would be an improvement. The fish was cooked to perfection though. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the coleslaw had NO flavor to it whatsoever. It tasted like cabbage in water. Other than that, everything was good and the service & atmosphere were great. We would definitely be willing to go back.

We have been choosing Seafood Market for our fish cravings for years. They have always been friendly, and no more than a 15-minute wait, even during dinner rush! Every item we have ordered has been delicious and cooked to perfection. Pablo and his team have a true gem here in Arizona. A must try is their Sole Almodine, delicious . Kid-friendliness: Our daughter loves the kid fish and chips.

Not big on seafood but this experience was great. I recommend this place as a good place to try. The sever Blake was awesome and on top of everything.
