Sea Legs Wine Bar

Stopped for a quick drink on a short layover. Ordered a drink and it was nice. Paid my $20.40. Was charged the $20.40 and an additional $274.50 on a 2nd transaction. Clearly some shady Bartenders. Never stop here. They are thieves.

RIP OFF. Even for an airport restaurant. The ravioli had exactly 10 pieces for $25. 1 old fashioned, 1 glass of wine, 1 pasta. $75. With tax and included tip.

The Best

An outrageous experience. The bar at LAX automatically adds an 18%tip “for my convenience”, and I pay tax on the tip! Zero stars, but two for the friendly bartender. Last drink purchase for me at LAX.

You can’t charge your devices here if you are waiting for your flight. They demand you unplug your device and move if your not going to order. The area has really no where to charge anything in this gate area. The servers were rude stating they pay rent to LAX therefore they control their outlets. ‍♀️

After being stuck in this airport for over 5 hours due to delays I was trying to find a place to charge my phone. I located a plug on the wall under a bench that apparently belonged to this bar. I plugged in my phone and literally 5 seconds later a man says to me "are you actually going to patronize my restaurant or just steal the electricity" I was completely speechless of course. He told me to leave (mind you I hadn't even been offered a menu or a chance to decide what I wanted). I said I'd like to buy a Coke and he told me he was refusing service, told me he was the manager and there was no one else I could speak to and then called the police on me! To top it off he took a picture of my son, and refused to give me his name when I asked. Sad little man on an "I'm the manager" power trip. Absolutely absurd, do yourself a favor and stay away from this RUDE atmosphere.

Cool little bar with food at the end of the terminal. Surrounded by gates so easy to see what's going on. Juan was professional and called the guests by name which as a server can be tough to do. Did not get food though others food looked good and seemed to come fairly quickly so I can't rate that. As far as pricing it's airport anything so it's a bit overpriced. Also don't seen complaints about the 18% auto added. There's a sign, if you can't read thats on you ‍♂️ Wheelchair accessibility: Not great, tall bar tables on side and bar top is standard height. 2 small tables in back right that I missed even several times after being here.

A really great spot to wait out your time at the terminal. Food is fresh with good portions, and there's a good variety of drinks. The bartender this evening was incredibly quick, professional, and friendly.
