Delicious food. Pricey. A vibe on the weekends. Faster service during the week. Service was great and welcoming. Quaint space.

Food wasn’t bad but also wasn’t that great to be honest . Staff seemed a bit all over the place very limited seating.

Long wait time for the food, and I didn’t really like the peach French toast however the chicken wings was delicious. Service was very mediocre.

The problem is I came in here to see if the restaurant lived up to the hype. With a Critiquing mindset. I don't think it lived up to the hype. But the bar has been set VERY HIGH. To start, I stood at the entry almost 10 minutes unacknowledged. There was no warm smile from the servers that saw us standing there, no words, no welcome. Our server was nice, our food came out in a timely fashion. The good. I brought my chicken and waffle home and my 16yr son is in heaven. All I hear is smacking. He looked up and said this chicken is unusually big isn't ma! YES YES YES ... that's my complaint about the chicken. All I could think was pink slime and hormones. It was fried to perfection, and flavored well. The pieces I did eat had a lot of fat. once that hit my tongue. I was done. I chose the carrot cake waffles. AGAIN...my son breathed it down. It was cake in a waffle iron. It was flavored nice but too thick. Hubby didn't eat his either. We could have chose regular waffles but wanted to try the specialty. He ordered shrimp and grits. He liked it. I thought the grits could have been a little creamier, and was too soupy. Atmosphere was nice. But i stared at a wall with nothing to capture my eye but a tv displaying ads. We rated it average With no desire to return.

Waiter was nice and patient but $40 FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD FOR ONE PERSON SO CRAZY. What entertainment for a fee???

Good food, good portions and good people, are things that make me smile and this place has all three in abundance.

Check your tab!! I carried out and was STILL charged 18% gratuity! There is also a "suggested additional tip" section at the bottom of the receipt. If you choose to do this, know that you are also tipping on the mandatory 18%. Ridiculous. I had the bacon and egg biscuit which was good, but no better than many other places that don't charge ridiculous fees. I won't be back.

Food is decent. But the wait for the food is very very long. I think maybe there isn’t enough staff or big enough kitchen to accommodate all the customers. Our waitress after a very long time of waiting for our food, our waitress came back and told us they ran out of Mac and cheese. It doesn’t seem like they adequately prepare for the amount of patrons they may get both with staffing and the food items.

The wait time is absolutely insane. I was told an hour. Came back around the 45-minute mark and asked how many people were ahead of me and was told 1. However, it still took another 45 minutes to be sat after watching 3 groups go before me. Yes, I could've left, but I stayed because of the great reviews. I've been wanting to come here for a while. The food was decent, but I was truly expecting more of a WOW factor based on the reviews I've heard. Although our server was nice, the actual service was basic. I waited 15 minutes for a straw and 25 minutes for a to go box. But the server was quick to highlight 20% tip on the hand-held machine. I don't particularly like that I have to read my receipt while someone is standing over me holding a device. I will try this spot one more time. Hopefully, it will be a better experience overall.
