Scruggs BBQ

When I want fresh, not out of a box delicious food, I go to Scruggs BBQ. The food and service is great. My personal favorite is the loaded baked potatoes.

The real deal

Everything you would expect from a local BBQ spot! Had the brisket sandwich and it was on point! BBQ beans were awesome

Owner very aggressive when ask why she charged me for a full meal an got half of the order then was very angry because I ask her why she charged me full price when I got half quarter chicken

This is a busy place at lunch time throughout the week. The food is good and the service is usually pretty fast unless your order gets misplaced as ours did once and resulted in a 45 minute wait. Usually, you should have your food within 10 minutes. The ribs are really good. The baked beans are tasty. I'm not a fan of the slaw. The pulled pork is good, but it isn't anything outstanding compared to other BBQ restaurants we travel to regularly. The atmosphere is one medium sized open dining area with a couple of tvs hanging on the wall. There's usually news on one and sports on the other.

Stopped by at 1pm on a Wednesday and they were closed. Disappointed. Always enjoy the food

I recently visited Scruggs BBQ, and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. Upon realizing that the payment machine had charged me an incorrect amount for a tip, I politely approached the owner to request a refund of the overcharged amount. Instead of addressing my concern with professionalism and courtesy, the owner was incredibly rude and dismissive. To make matters worse, the situation escalated when several kitchen staff members surrounded me in a confrontational manner, creating an atmosphere of intimidation rather than resolving the issue amicably. Shockingly, the owner not only refused to refund the overcharged amount but also went as far as to deny me any further service, leaving me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. The lack of basic customer service and the hostile response from the owner and staff were deeply disappointing. I strongly advise against visiting Scruggs BBQ if you are seeking a pleasant dining experience and respectful treatment as a customer. It's important for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and handle concerns with empathy and professionalism, and unfortunately, this was sorely lacking during my visit. I hope that sharing my experience will encourage the establishment to reevaluate their customer service practices to ensure that other patrons do not encounter similar treatment.
