Scruby's BBQ

Tried 4 times and each eat in experience has been more disappointing. Whole chicken was extremely dried out; the pulled chicken was soaking in juice. The garlic toast was placed in the juice on the plate and was soaking wet. Very unappetizing. When we requested a replacement, we were told it had to be returned to the kitchen to be shown in order to be taken off and a substitute provided I asked 2 weeks ago if they could please serve separately so that the bread was not soaked in chicken juice. The margaritas were extremely weak, and primarily made with orange juice and mix. My son ordered dinner to be delivered tonight The bread arrived soaked, placed in shredded pork juice. The green beans were extremely overcooked and mushy with no flavor at all. The sweet potato was black on the outside, old and extremely overcooked and mushy. The baked beans were decent, however, have never consistent in taste and quality. I will never choose this restaurant ever again

I am a regular. Great BBQ, but not all the sides are so great. I keep going back... I have to add that our regular waitress gives us such good service that I enjoy going back just because she's everything a server should be. We're here pretty regularly. In this place is consistent and we love our regular waitress to death. She is absolutely amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend the brisket sandwich and the St. Louis Ribs. And they have baked beans that are second to none.

Sorry to say , a mundane BBQ place. Pulled pork was kind of bland and the BBQ sauces were nothing to write home about. Good Sweet potato. And the portions were big.

Service was awesome, food was great.

Service 5 stars, no complaints there everyone one was very friendly and helpful. I even felt I was not in “Miami/SF”. The place is outdated but clean. The food was ok, I give it 3 stars to the food. The brisket was so dry and it had a weird texture, the ribs were ok also dry. The mac and cheese you could see the oil separation, the Cole slaw was acceptable, and the corn bread normal. We Paid $100 for 2 fountain drinks, 1 app, and 2 entrees plus 2 corn breads. This was an ok restaurant overall, one of those restaurants you are in the area and decide to try it but that is it.
