Love, love, love especially now they take reservations. The staff was very friendly and getting their desserts was a nice touch to end the meal.

Chicken and waffles were delicous. The Collard greens were the best I've had in a restaurant of course my moms are better. But for a restaurant, they were superb. My husband got the ettuffe. He said it was the best he's had including meals he got when we were in New Orleans.

We’ve been there twice, and it may be our new day off breakfast joint. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff make this one of Portlands best. Davi has been our server twice and is beyond welcoming and attentive. Even if the food was subpar, my partner and I would come back just for her! The first time we came it was packed. There was a wait list, (quoted 25 minutes, sat in 15.. not bad at all), but the food was hot and the service was incredible! Today was much slower, but the service was exactly the same, five star. The sweet potato waffle is a thing of dreams. I highly recommend!

Ever since checked in, I waited almost 45mins to get the food ready after asking regarding my orders. The thing is not only about the time we’ve been waiting for but their answers. They said it is a weekend/busy morning. How they can turn over the each tables by preparing few orders more than 45 mins? I am highly thinking my order turned in behind and catches up after asking the situation. The food was not bad but I just don’t feel to enjoy my brunch. Hope they can maintain good turning flow and catch up the orders more efficiently.

Busy, busy, busy.... Always. I have never been here without a wait.. But who really cares about that when you see all that food walking by you and your stomach is growling. Always good, always fresh... Fried chicken, greens, catfish, Mac and cheese....i can't even talk about it any more... There was enough for two meals... Really good as leftovers!!! Isn't that the real way to judge good food... If it is still good the second day.. Can't wait to go back... Try that freaking amazing Banoffee pie.. Parking: Just take a freaking Uber or Lyft... It will save you the stress of driving around and around....lol.. Unless you enjoy that, of course.

Some of my favorite foods prepared magnificently! Rich flavors and stellar service. Fabulous fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, collards, Cole slaw and corn bread!
