I love this place. I've been eating here for years, so my review has that bias. It very much feels like a neighborhood spot, and it is, but it's worth the journey to find this gem of unique Italian offerings. I want to tell you about the clam chowder, but also, I don't, because it's a limited menu item on reserved days. That's all I should say , or you might show up and get MY bowl. A new limited time special was on the menu tonight. Crab cakes. They were a little on the soft side, but made up for that in flavor, however the rave was the unique sauce crafted in house. It has a little kick, but it is a pleasure indeed. Decadent with flavor. In the past, the chicken parm was my go-to, it's a big healthy serving that never does me wrong, but lately I've been traveling the calzone list. You can see the Sicilian calzone in my pic. Look at that cheese pull!!!! It's my new favorite regular menu item. Bursting with so many goodies that I won't even list them. They are made to order, so feel free to mix and match from the choices. I took the offered style.... This meat does not disappoint. It hits with a kick. There's mushrooms, spinach, artichoke....there's so much going on in there. Go get some! And don't forget to order bread. Thank me later. Vegetarian options: I think Scotty might be a vegetarian, not sure, but there are some tasty options here that are vegetarian. The eggplant parmesan is delicious.b Dietary restrictions: I don't have any, so I'm not sure about this, but I think people here are very accommodating. Parking: There's an ok number of spots on the lot, and more parking on street and across street. Kid-friendliness: This is a family style restaurant. There is beer and wine, the vibe is family friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility for eating indoors. Might need assistance to eat on the patio, but the service is good and we know them over the years, the same servers have been there a long time.
