Scooter's Coffee

I drove my stepfather to the millennium physicians group building and let him out. Then I looked for the closest restaurant and noticed there is a Subway and a scooter's coffee in the hospital next door so I walked over there the security guard said can I help you and I said yeah I'm going over to scooters to get a coffee and a muffin and he started shaking his head an appointment for me to get out. I called scooter's coffee directly once I exited the hospital and I said are you not open to the public? She said only if you have business here. I will go out of my way if this is ever the most convenient thing and I am visiting someone in the hospital I will go out of my way never to go to this coffee shop.

I am so confused why the scooters coffee here is in hospitals… there are 2 like this. Missouri does it better sorry

My wife’s been in and out of the hospital for 6 months dealing with chemo and has gotten a coffe from this place everyday and tips generously even though she’s on her death bed . I got her a coffe last night 15 minutes before they closed and they gave her milk instead of half and half (no big deal ,mistakes happen ) but by the time I came back down from her room on the seventh floor scooters had closed so I saved the cup which was still alll the way full with not even a sip taken out of it to bring it back down tomorrow and trade it in so my wife gets up out of her hospital bed and goes down to trade it in but they refuse and tell her no it was a different employe so they can’t do it and basically brushed her off VERY RUDELY infront of a line of people and embarrassed her while she is already extremely embarrassed by her hair falling out !! She calls me telling me they refuse so I drive up there to talk to the manager and the guy working says it’s not his fault he’ll call the manager and then takes the phone around the corner for 10 minutes so I walk around the corner and here her on speaker phone so I ask what’s the problem and she gives me the run around and brushes me off and goes back to talking to the employee like I’m in the wrong WHEN THEY WERE THE ONES WHO MADE IT WRONG AND THEN PRETENDED LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT !!?? Take into account I buy this same drink for my wife everyday and tip them everyday !! While I was waiting I noticed tons of ants and flys and even what looked to be a maggot on the counter where the mixes are . Those mixes definitely have eggs in them and thank god I had that confrontation so I noticed the bugs and won’t be going back . They should be ashamed of themselves treating a hospital patient like she was nothing and ignoring her . Do better and I have a video of the flys and nats in the syrup

Coffee bar was clearly open but security guard said no barista has been there for 20 minutes. This was at like 7pm. Drove out of my way to get scooters for a reason. Should’ve listened to the reviews.

If I could write a review without assigning a star I would have. This location deserves negative stars for their rude and unjust behavior. Sierra and Triss were very rude. Don't ask for a manager if you are unhappy with your service because they will tell you that you are harassing them and will hang up on you. Also check the lids on your coffee because they dont secure them well and if you spill your coffee on yourself because the lid wasnt secure like I did, they will tell you it's not their fault you spilled your coffee and to pound sand. Sierra and Triss need a lesson in customer service. Let us hope that their lack of caring and negligence doesn't effect the elderly population in the hospital!!

The owners treat the employees terrible. Then the employees pass it on the customers. Don't support businesses that don't support their employees.
