Scalzotto Italian Restaurant Westminster Pizza and Breakfast

One of the worst SERVICE experiences we’ve had in a very long time and we go out to eat allll the time. Honestly decent food, I think the recipes get handed down from sister restaurant so there’s that’s.., but the “new waitress” ordered everything wrong and treated us like trash… the manager was lousy let’s just say that.., over all our service experience I can’t even explain was pretty darn bad???.:( food decent. But did take a long time even considering how busy it was at the time..! I give it a 2/10 okay after the manager replied I’ll say, This is how it actually went, we showed up, the sign outside drew us in it said brunch until 2:00, we were there about 20 tell.., we ordered with the new waitress who was rude and eye rolling from the get and that was my problem the entire time, the staffs rudeness after we would complain of what they were doing wrong.., ordered three brunches and one pasta lunch. The waitress didn’t know the menu at all, okay, she was new.., but we asked about the menu because it was so not well written, asked for one of our breakfast with no egg, we asked for the pasta with different noodles and no meat. The waitress came back and said brunch was over and we’d have to order lunch, we asked to ask a manager why they weren’t abiding by their sign out front, he was in a rush and pushy, disappeared and never came back to ask if we were satisfied or anything.., the waitress came back to take our order again for brunch, we waited a long time, my lunch should have came with a salad, I never got that, just the pasta, but with chicken and no mushrooms or broccoli like I asked.., our no egg breakfast had egg… our bottomless mimosas went getting fulfilled and we’re full of oj no champagne.. the two of us never ate we waited almost two hours there.., it wasn’t even busy.., the waitress came with $130 bill and $10 off from the manager.., the waitress should have knew by the way we said no meat or eggs.., we’re vegetarian so we dont want that on our plates, I was not happy with her because she asked me if I could just scrape the chicken off, and told me they wouldn’t take care of my meal because I didn’t read the menu right.., over all the staff was rude unprofessional and in experienced. Never again. I will however take my time and drive to the Broomfield location!

Overpriced, $7.00 extra for 5 small slices of garlic bread, $7.00 extra for salad. The main entrées are priced about the same as olive garden but doesn't include bread and salad. The food tasted ok, the portions were average. But the restaurant atmosphere and location really don't warrant the price. No.lunch menu either. The men's restroom wasn't very clean and the water faucet was broken and flopping around. It's decorated really nice.

The atmosphere is nice when you walk in, feels upscale but still approachable. Food was delicious although I wasn’t a huge fan of the Osso Buco. I have had other delicious meals here, the Chicken Parmesan, lasagna and lobster ravioli are all solid choices, along with the tiramisu. The service is good and kind but I’d recommend more training for servers on the wine. Ordered Pinot noir and they brought a bottle we didn’t order without telling us about the substitution. It wasn’t good so it went back for something else. Another time we ordered Pinot noir and got Pinot Grigio. Overall good food and atmosphere just may need a little more training for waitstaff and/or bar staff. A solid choice when you want good Italian food served in a local specialty restaurant in upscale surroundings. Kid-friendliness: The place is nice and feels upscale when you walk in. Not too upscale to be kid friendly though! My 11 year old likes it here and we’ve gone a few times a year for the last couple of years. Don’t remember them having kids menus though, you may want to bring your own entertainment.

Collette was great

Your first impression could be your last. Unfortunately so for this place! If it weren't for the great company we probably would have waited 2 hours for our meal as opposed to the 1 hour we actually waited. The menu was the usual for Italian American "Meh". Leaving 1 or 2 star ratings was being nice. We ended up at the Lazy Dog telling staff of our experience. Our waitress said she had heard of similar experiences of the Scalzotto's. Thanks Lazy Dog for taking care of us!

Food was great the location is beautifully decorated, very nice ambiance and the staff was amazing. Love this place and will definitely be back.

A very consistent, delicious experience at this low key Italian restaurant. Their cream sauces and marinara sauces are excellent. Paulette has been our server on more than one occasion and we are always impressed by her good attitude and enthusiasm.

Very nice dining experience. Great service and excellent brunch.
