I’ve been coming here for years; by far the best Italian food in Denver. But, they’ve recently made a major change to the presentation of their dishes and they’ve increased their homemade pasta options immensely. It’s beautiful!! I can’t speak higher of this place…top-notch food with the friendliest service. Every time I leave, I can’t wait to come back. Ashlee is our favorite waitress. She is ALWAYS so happy and friendly. She’s never in a hurry, she offers the best advice and recommendations…she’s a giant part of this restaurant’s success - they’re very lucky to have her on their team. See you soon!
Hidden Gem of deliciousness! I’ll cross through Denver to come here again! Great atmosphere, server friendless and service 100%
Delicious food, great service, incredible value! Eggplant parmigiana and the osso buco were phenomenal.
Mistakenly put this on Westminster location, but went to Broomfield location tonight. Ashley was amazing! So helpful and her customer service was above and beyond. The food was fantastic! Highly recommend the Italian sausage (they even made it with spicy marinara upon request). Highly recommend- good food, service, and ambience.
I’ve been here twice and both times the service was terrible. People are nice, but the kitchen is always behind and it took over 1hr to get food after it was ordered both times. The food and service at Olive Garden is sadly better than this, and way cheaper.
Our experience at Scalzotto was one to remember! First, our server, Ashley, was attentive, informative, and sweet. She shared with us some of her favorites on the menu -- we found that we had similar tastes and loved everything we sampled. We started off with some wine, a riesling from the Willamette Valley in Oregon and a Sauv Blanc from Italy. Both were highlights and complemented our meals nicely. For food, we teased our tastebuds with the Meatballs con Ricotta. The meatballs are everything you'd want in an Italian meatball -- herbaceous and succulent! For our entrée, we sampled the mushroom ravioli and the marsala chicken (with sides of sautéed broccolini and spaghetti with marinara). The mushroom rav was creamy and just the right amount of rich, brightened up nicely with a punch of parmigiano reggiano. The chicken marsala proved tender, moist, and flavorful. The sides were excellent as well. We even got to sample a cannoli - it was worth the calories. Lastly, the ambiance! My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our cozy date spot in one of Scalzotto's outdoor greenhouses. Not enough restaurants have genuinely warm, cozy, and COVID-safe outdoor dining options in the winter. Scalzotto nailed it with this one. You should go!
The restaurant was packed and they were turning away customers on a Monday night. After enjoying our dinner, we understood why. Delicious food, reasonably priced and fabulous service. We will be back.
Very good and at a reasonable price.
