1st time here. Never been in Alabama before and this was a wonderful treat. Don't think I can eat pimento cheese with pork rinds ever again. Steven was outstanding on recommendations. A++! Pulled pork greens and grits was amazing!

A guy named Steven brought me the best damn chicken I have ever had. Smoked chicken thighs. Im from Florida but Im considering moving to Alabama to be closer to these thighs.

A decent spot to grab some barbecue, however it is EXPENSIVE for what you are getting. The food was okay, but it doesn't really stick out in any way.. For the meat, you do get a nice smoky flavor, but the pulled pork is pretty dry. The chicken was good. The potato was honestly the best of the meal but I wouldn't say it was worth $10.. nor was the chicken plate worth $15. On the other hand the staff was very friendly and I was checked on by many different members of the staff. This location is also pretty big and has plenty of seating and parking.

2 attempts at this restaurant have turned out to be very disappointing. First time we waited 45 minutes before food came out with over 3/4 of the tables all waiting on food as well. They were very apologetic and gave discount cards so figured they are new and they’ve got some learning and kinks to work out. 2nd attempt went to order a chicken baker to go. Waited 20 minutes with a minimal crowd there to only find out when we got home that we received a potatoe with cheese and no chicken. This kind of service will not keep this place open, no matter how good the food is!
