Nice place, nice atmosphere. I'd go more if I didn't have to pay for parking.

I ordered shrimp and grits for takeout tonight. It was delicious! The only thing that would elevate the dish is some garlic crostini bread!

Fantastic drinks

My friends and I attempted to have dinner here however our experience wasn’t so great. We walked inside and were greeted by the host. The host was very pleasant however as she walked us in to be seated we were approached by a woman with a terrible attitude saying they weren’t opened yet. (Hence the door to the restaurant was open so we let ourselves in like we would any other time we’re going out to eat) Her exact words were “give us 10 minutes”. So we walked out and tried to find somewhere to sit and wait. All 3 of us had on heels so it would’ve been nice to have a designated place to sit down while we waited. But instead we were approached AGAIN by the same woman asking us not to lean on their furniture and this time her tone was even worst than the first interaction. After paying $20 to park, and her speaking to us as if we were children, we decided to leave.

Our nephew suggested this place. We’re glad he did. We started with drinks from the bar and the catfish bites for our shareable. For our entrees, we had the chicken plate, shrimp & grits, Ox tails and chicken wings with collard greens and sweet potatoes for sides. Everything came out promptly and hot. We also want to give a BIG handclap for J’Len Bailey for doing a wonderful job as our server. I want to thank him for giving us a little history lesson on the “people mover” that was a great attraction as we ate our meal. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The experience was awesome! The vibe was amazing and the FOOD 10/10! Everything was fresh nothing was cold. Shout out to our server Chelsea was AMAZING

The Place is different for Soul food dinning, very nice atmosphere, very nice, food was great every visit! My return recently was still a great experience, the chicken breast is Great I'm still trying to find one similar, on the level,as well as the catfish and the ox tails, my Mom was disappointed about the stairs, so if you or your companions are not fond of stairs ,you may not like but can't deny the place is a great experience all around! Still 5 stars
