I came in having high expectations the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great I ordered the poutine and it was very bland the fries were over cooked that it wasn’t enjoyable it had no flavor I also ordered a regular cheese burger that was bland and not worth the price very disappointed had high expectations and it just wasn’t it

I’m writing this with a heavy heart as Saus used to be one of my favorite places in Boston from when I was a college student to my yearly trips coming back to visit Boston. I’d tell all my friends to stop by too if they were in town. However, the meal my family and I were served yesterday was dismal at best. I’m talking COMPLETELY BURNT patties, the fries were overdone and soggy and everything was overly salted. We even asked them to remake one of the burgers and it came back somehow worse the second time. My mom couldn’t even eat more than the first bite. If I wasn’t hosting my family, I would’ve absolutely pushed for a refund. Sad to see what Saus has become - I wonder if there’s been a change in management. Service wasn’t as warm or quick as before either. Crazy to wait 20 minutes for a burger just for it to be the most mediocre thing you’ve ever had. Save your money and just venture over to one of the many restaurants in North End or even at Quincy market (ya I know, it was that bad).

Ordered a poutine, the fries were burned and the cheese freezing cold. It was barely edible. The service was a meh. Read good reviews but got the exact opposite experience.

I don’t think the Belgian waffles are what Saus is known for, but they’re the only things I’ve gotten from here. They are a bit expensive for the portion size, but they hit the spot if you’re craving something sweet. The waffles have a nice bite to them, and you can never go wrong with Nutella. You can also add ice cream, but I prefer mine without.

Loved the staff and service! I’ve tried sauz twice on separate occasions and I could not do the saltiness. A bit bland, but enjoyed their beer float options!

The food at this place is absolutely disgusting and gave me food/salmonella poisoning from the chicken sandwich. Will never come back here again. Get your house in order Saus!

Came here in summer and it was our first time in Boston. We ordered the brats and burger. Everything was good, tasty and juicy. The staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely will come back when we visit again

Cant say enough amazing things about Saus. It was on DD&D for a reason! The southern crispy, cauliflower falafel, & kimchi ranch crispy sandwiches are all incredible. Even better if you make them spicy. All of the sauces are amazing, you can get an enormous plate of food that will keep you full all day for like 20 bucks. Free water and in house hot sauce up for grabs at all times. I cone here at least once a month, if not more! I go out of my way to come here and id recommend it to anyone! Lots of vegan options too! The ONLY down side is that the seating is not abundant, very very tiny and loud space and seats fill up fast. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options! Protein bowls and sandwiches/burgers, fries, & vegan sauces too! Parking: Its downtown Boston, near the aquarium. Of course there's no parking easily accessible. Best parking at a train station and MBTA-ing in.
