Satsuma Sushi

We love this place. Small Japanese restaurant. Good food. Not expensive. Highly recommended.

Rating is primarily for the food as I always take out. PRO: - Good quality sushi - Nice selection of rolls - Bento boxes filling CON: - Check your order before you take out - Expensive rolls ($15+) - Can get busy, call earlier to cut wait time SUMMARY: This is my go-to sushi place in Mt. View. It's a bit pricey if you only do rolls or sushi but it's good quality.

9 of us walked in (5 adults & 4 kids) on a Saturday evening and we were seated within 10 mins! The food was hot and came out quickly. Parking: Located in the same parking lot as Best Buy. Kid-friendliness: Kids portion of Ramen was pretty large!

Been coming here for almost a year at lunch time. Today is a holiday and they said that only dinner plates will be served at lunchtime. So my usual sashimi lunch was not available but the dinner portion is available. I could see if it was a shortened menu due to limited staff but to ask me to pay for three more pieces of sashimi because of a holiday is not right. They basically lost a frequent customer and a $36.00 tab today because they wanted me to buy 12 pieces of sashimi vs. My normal 9 pieces. Bad idea!!!

Popular strip mall eatery delivered decent sushi and attentive service. This is your pretty basic family sushi restaurant with plenty of tables and booths. The menu is indeed diverse. I went basic with a California roll and a shrimp tempura roll. Neither was particularly flavorful and they required extra soy sauce to brighten up. The ebi shrimp was better. The service was fine. Prompt and efficient. I would return to Satsuma to give it a second chance but I would not rush back.

Order shrimp tempura, spoonful bliss, and carpaccio.

Our favorite place to eat! Every time we are in the South Bay, we try to stop by! It’s too good!
