Satay 2 Go

We moved to Minnesota about a decade ago and have been to a LOT of restaurants. A lot definitely leave much to be desired but Satay 2 Go is excellent. Top 3 that we've been to. We drive from nearly an hour away to eat there and it's worth it. Very nice bonus is that the owners are super nice to us and the kids. Great all around and wish them lots of future success.

Ordered fried rice and Singapore noodles. Rice is too dry to chew felt like grains Singapore noddles is good.

A hidden gem! The prices are very affordable and the portion sizes are hearty. -The oreo donuts are crazy good. The donut dough is just the right amount of rich and chewy, kind of like a funnel cake. -The frozen avocado coffee is one of my new favorite drinks on this planet (so creamy and delishious). -I've had authentic bon mi sandwiches in Ho Chi Mihn City Vietnam and the bon mi at Satay 2 Go are on par, if not better! -We also got the cream cheese wontons and they cook them perfectly. Alot of places overcook the breading making it hard and painful to eat the edges but not Satay 2 Go. My gf and I will be back many more times.

2023 Update: After many years the owners will be handing the reigns over. Thank you for the amazing food and family type of atmosphere you've provided for so long! To the new owners, please be sure to keep the heart of this company the same. To everyone else, please keep coming. Be sure to try out their new fruit tea! The strawberry fruit tea is amazing! And as usual the buns are fantastic! Buns. Red bean buns (anpan), curry buns, siew pau, milky buns, etc. I often make a meal out of their amazing buns. But when we have time we will order a meal. The nasi lemak is a favorite of mine bit we also love laksa (great for those of you who like things spicy), the Singapore rice noodles, and mee goreng. The kids love the chicken & shrimp Cantonese chow fun. It's Cantonese soul food.

I definitely give them 10/10 for the broth of Pho, very tasty and authentic. Friendly and welcoming staffs. Definitely will come back to try all of their menu. Highly recommend to try out their buns, pho, and vietnamese coffee.

My boss has been talking about this place for years and our team finally broke down and ordered it for lunch. Best decision ever made. The food is phenomenal. We had the Mee goreng, the honey bbq pork banh mi, the roasted pork banh mi, the doughnuts, and cream cheese wontons. Everything was flavorful, cooked to perfection, with really nice portion sizes. Easily our new favorite spot.
