If you’re trying to get out of your comfort zone this place does everything good. Drinks were amazing made with fresh ingredients none of those artificial sweeteners, food different also amazing. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very helpful. They have a happy hour menu with 1/2 off drinks.
Went for a dinner on a Friday night. Food was unremarkable, EXCEPT for the cheddar biscuits, but at 14 dollars for only two was really disappointed. Wife had shrimp and grits, and I had gumbo. Shrimp in the gumbo were eh and the shrimp in the grits was tasteless. The Mac and cheese had pepper in it which was an odd addition, but overall pretty good. Keep a bottle of water next to the bed, the salt content was astronomical. AND WATCH YOUR STEP ON THE WAY IN! 2” step that you can barely see.
Funny enough being from Switzerland , I love to watch catch clean cook on YouTube, the host of the show invites James to cook Iguana and I thought to myself this guy can cook local! Chef @Yames2 blew our minds he recommended delicious dishes and the gnocchi were Incredible. I don't know if the team is the same as 2 years ago during our last visit but would highly recommend this venue!
Party of 10 and the waitress remembered the whole order without writing it down. She was on point and super nice!! I definitely recommend! Good food , amazing drinks!
Love this spot, queer friendly, great food, brunch is a must!!
Too loud for my taste and the aren’t many vegetarian options. Also the waiter pushed the check too fast when I was about to order another Prosecco. Never mind.
Incredible food, and the drinks were even better. Michael the bartender was so nice and recommended the greatest drinks. The drink of the month was so unique and delicious. 10/10
The coffee machine was broken for brunch and the eggs Benedict was realllll rough in terms of quality but the service and decor were nice.
We're from out of town and we were surprised by the lack of restaurants in the area that offer seasonal upscale food. We couldn't dine out on Valentine's Day due to an emergency with our dog, so we did takeout from Sassafras. It was our best meal in 2 weeks here in Florida. Very flavorful, fresh, and inventive. And it was not much more costly compared to some less enjoyable dinners we had. Hopefully next year we can visit and dine in-person.
