I've eaten at Sarku over many years and at many locations as it's one of the two "mall food" restaurants I actually enjoy. The teriyaki was always delicious, but generally, no matter which location I visited, the rice and veggies were never edible. One or another would be dry or poorly cooked, no matter how freshly prepared the teriyaki was. Thus, I did a double take when I recently ordered from this particular location with a delivery app deal. The rice was moist and veggies well-cooked. I couldn't believe that I ordered take out from the same chain, and I had enough to eat without having to order extra portions of chicken. I'm not sure what this place did differently to ensure quality, but they are doing something right.
Run of the mill teriyaki bowls. The meat was pretty decent but the rice could use some love. They charge you if you need a bag to carry your containers to go.
They give you a good portion but the food is mediocre at best. The chicken was over cooked, the noodles were mushy and greasy(and I had paid an extra $2 for noodles), and for some reason they put the teriyaki sauce on the side. Which sucked given that they only give you a few drops of the sauce so it’s not enough to go around. As far as the dumplings, they were mediocre and a bit burnt.
Very disappointing. The chicken (if you can call it that) was super salty and chewy. The veggies is just a bunch of cabbage and a few carrots. The spring roll was overly greasy. You get what you pay for here.
Customer service is horrible...and app doesn't work
Bad service, good food !!
The worst chicken teriyaki I’ve ever eaten! It tasted very bad. Also, the lady who took my order was very rude!
The girl at the checkout is very direct and has no time, the food is very cheap, very salty and very fatty. No taste. Please close this restaurant as soon as possible, has nothing to do in this mall.
