Typical family breakfast diner vibes, very nostalgic. GREAT place for a nice traditional breakfast. The best pancakes I have ver had from a restaurant. Food portions were great servers were nice and prompt. It gets busy on the weekends during prime brunch time. But the menu has a lot to offer I had the hangover meal and it was great!
Had a wonderful brunch. Great atmosphere and steady customers. Service was quick and food was served hot and was very tasty! Staff was very friendly and coffee was good! Vegetarian options: Minimum like oatmeal and fruit Kid-friendliness: Yes.
Food is good. The parking lot is very small and there is almost no space. The service is very good and very fast
Didn't even walk through the door and they ran out of food.
I got there when they opened. Had an easy order which was brought out wrong. The waiter immediately remedied the situation. Glad he did! The home fries were life changing.
First red flag was carpeted floors. I can’t imagine what kind of eco systems exist in a carpeted diner. Yikes! Second red flag was the food came out almost immediately after ordering. Like they just have food sitting waiting to go out. And the taste reflected that thought. Hash browns tasted like they been sitting in a pile of hash browns drowning in oil and were warm not hot. Same with the bacon that I ordered extra crispy, were soggy and limp and I imagine was like the hash browns, sitting in a pile of baccon/grease warm not hot. pancakes were basic short stack with fruit and were just ok nothing great. Waiting staff was great and filled my coffee regularly which was the only hot thing I consumed. Older lady not in uniform at register seamed to be having a horrible day tho it was sunny and 65° out and when I chose not to tip on the screen the temp probably jumped a few degrees. I won’t be making it back here. If you want classic American breakfast food with no frills That isn’t ihop go to burger barn down the street. I at least expect this small neighborhood diner to have a warm experience but it was just below average. And I don’t think I’ve EVER written a review on anything before or at least not in a very long time.
If you are looking for high cuisine and atmosphere, this place is probably not for you. If, however, you enjoy good comfort food, you should give it a try. I really enjoy Sara, who is there every day, They have a surprisingly large varied menu. You'll find yourself immersed local clientele.
Good fulfilling breakfast at Sara’s kitchen, traditional ambiance with a vibe around 49ers. Overall - good laughs on all tables, warm and fast service. Please keep it up!
A lovely small diner with impeccable atmosphere and a vast menu of delicious comfort food. A must try breakfast/brunch place and with reasonable pricing and excellent service. Dietary restrictions: Dietary restrictions can be addressed by your server, and menu items are clearly defined Parking: Small number of spots but street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood.
