Sara’s Family Restaurant

My friends and I enjoyed breakfast there this morning as we left Ft. Wayne. The food was plentiful and delicious. We had the mini breakfast, one of the eggs benedict dishes and the multi meat omelet. Our service was great. I will recommend Sara's to people I know traveling in the Ft. Wayne area!

I found this suggestion using my gluten free app while in town for show choir. They were super busy. I was elated when I told my Server I have celiac and I didnt get the normal confused or off put look but she responded "me too". She assured me that they take every precautions and they've taken her experiences to incorporate changes in their processes and menu. They even serve gluten free food on colored plates to ensure its known. She also shared some of her favorite spots to go when she's out and about. Celiac can be isolating but the moment of finding community and understanding was beautiful. The food was so good. I've missed waffles and this hit the spot. saras is always delicious. great service and food. I only wish it was bigger and more open atmosphere. wait staff is so good.

Service and atmosphere are fine... But the food was so bland last time we went that we really don't want to go back again. A shame since we really liked the restaurant originally but the product has to be worth the price and it just isn't anymore.
