Saquella Café

New owners jacked up the prices and decreased the quality of the food. The ALL AMERICAN is now $16, up from $12 a month ago. 3 pieces of bacon became 2 pieces and were dried out and inedible. The latte was good but it is half the size it used to be . The service was horrible. The eggs were prepped incorrectly. Over easy was served overcooked. The bread basket was not brought out with the eggs. I had to ask for bread three times. When it finally came, the eggs were cold. I asked for water 4 times!!! When I saw the waitress finally walking over with water, it was for another table who just sat down. There are so many better choices for breakfast in the area. Too bad because Saquella used to be a once a week go-to. I don’t like being made a fool of either. The menus look old and tattered however they were printed 2 weeks ago (rear of menu says it was revised on 1/1?/2024) and reflect the tremendous price increase. Maybe nobody would notice?

This place has lost in quality over the last several years. They no longer have many menu items making them unique, and prices have gone significantly up while ingredient quality has gone down. To be honest, not very different from Cracker Barrel at this point. Owner was very boisterous, walking around and getting in people’s personal space. Used to be a favorite in Boca, but don’t think I’ll go back.

Second time at this restaurant for a sunday brunch. . We were seated quickly but if you are very hungry don’t go there .. we waited for the food 30-45 minutes each time..

Outstanding meal! Went here for breakfast. Each of us had a different item. Muffins, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, eggs & bacon.!! Everything was delicious, hot & perfectly plated. Coffee was wonderful. Our server could not have been better or more attentive. Will be back.. soon!

super eat and enjoy

Super sad one star as the cafe used to be incredible, our wait staff were always amazing to us. They made you feel like a regular in your first visit. The baked goods were delicious, flakey, fluffy and flavorful. All of that is in past tense. They changed owners at the new year and the pastries are unpleasant, soggy, unappealing, and our favorite wait staff is seeking other employment. I have stopped being a regular.
