I have been going to Sapporo Ramen for more than 20 years now. Yep that's how old I am :-) Sapporo impresses with its rich yummy homemade soup base. If you know anything soup, you know that the base is critical. My favorites over the years have been Miso Ramen and Kimchi Ramen, but I have had almost everything on the menu. There is no bad choice. Vegetarian options: Several dishes are vegetarian.
Absolutely terrible food. Vegetarian Ramen was smelling fish. Taste was bland. I won’t choose this one again.
Had the curry and it was lacking flavor. Friend had the spicy miso and they also thought it was lacking as well. I left feeling as if I would have rather had a pack of ramen from the store. Server was friendly and attentive.
Exceptional ramen! I have been eating here for over 15 years and have never had a bad bowl of ramen. It's not the the best in Boston but it's still absolutely stellar.
I ordered House ramen. To be honest, I was disappointed Even considering that most Japanese ramens in the states don't taste good compared to the original. The broth is deap but FLAVORLESS. I couldn't taste anything. If you are sick, it could be healthy food. But if you are not, that ramen makes you try to make it more delicious. We tried it but couldnt find the way in the end. I think it needs more seasoning with salt or garlic or pickled ginger or whatever. Isn't seasoning the basics of cooking...?Toppings are poor too. Sweet corn doesn't really go well with ramen. The taste of the sweet corn seeps into the broth, ruining the taste even more. So, dont order the Ramen with Vanilla colored soup. Other dishes could be better.
Excellent ramen and friendly stuff
This ramen was amazing!!! I got the Spicy Miso ramen and it was delicious! It had so much flavour, the noodles were cooked to perfection, had no waiting time to get seated, food came quickly, presentation was great, and left feeling very full and satisfied! Usually ramen places give very little noodles and a lot of broth, but this one had great proportions and gave quite a bit of noodles, enough to make me full (which is rare). Overall, great ramen place to eat. Def would go again. Seating area is extremely limited though so there will probably be a line next time we go.
