Amazing dinner! Not fancy inside, decorated like a fishing boat. Lots of tables outside along sidewalk and also patio in the back, we sat inside. Cacio e Pepe with truffles was amazing (served out of a cheese wheel); Capesante Gratinate (smoked scallops au gratin with Tobiko caviar) was delicious; beef carpaccio was okay nothing special; lobster ravioli was really good. Bottles of wine were reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing Restaurant with such a fantastic staff. They served us very tasty food when they were almost about to close. The food was also very tasty and freshly done. Welcoming attitude beyond the working hours made this restaurant special, in fact entire crew was happy to explain the menu in detail and suggested choices based on preference. Excellent place and well recommended
We enjoyed a fantastic meal there along with a very nice wine recommendation. We both commented on the quality of the pasta which turns out to be fresh made in house. So good.
My food was good but my friends said their pasta didn't have enough sauce. Atmosphere is great but service was very busy, but it took 45 minutes to get appetizers. Parking: Paid public Parking lot across the street
We have been several times at sapore di mare, authentic Italian food and excellent wine selection.Very friendly staff, the manager took care of us and made excellent wine recommendations to pair with food. Very rare to find highly skilled food professionals in Miami. I usually bring there my out of town visitors. Highly recommended.
Was really looking forward to dining here on our weekend away for Valentine’s Day. We made a reservation on open table and the staff was kind enough to modify it as we were running late. We arrived and service started out good. Our apps were not bad, the salad with raw mushrooms is just weird but squash blossoms app is delicious. My pasta entree which is named after the restaurant (so I assumed it was the best) had dry stuck together pasta that was dry and sauceless and lacked any cooking technique or seasoning. The calamari was rubbery. The shrimp was pretty good which was great because I had to give some of it to my partner whose squid ink pasta with scallops came with only two small scallops. Our server was very sweet but overwhelmed and I had to ask for water and still didn’t have any when we left. I saw her tell the manager about us not being happy with our meals and he proceeded to talk to other tables around us and avoid ours like the plague! I have worked in the hospitality industry for 30 years and I know things happen, but as a manager you need to talk to ALL tables. We were not looking for a free meal but wanted to let someone know of our experience. Our server did comp our 2 glasses of wine and apologized. She was more of a leader in the end than the manager. To add insult to injury, my reservation was cancelled by the restaurant further showing that they have no idea what they’re doing. We definitely won’t be back.
The food was sub par at best. The Black Squid Scallop dish had 2 small scallops and was under seasoned. The atmosphere is loud, lights are very bright and the staff moves around like their hair is on fire. We will not come back.
