Outstanding Omakase! Get extra of the Chu Toro | Medium Fatty Tuna
Such a wonderful experience and such good quality of fish and service for the price. I would really want to try their takeout option once day. The courses were well made and they really focus on tuna. The different cuts and styles of tuna were presented well and the little toppings were great touches to each piece. I was a little sad that there was no dessert component to this omakase but wonderful nonetheless!
When I went, it was just my family of 6. So it was nice and intimate. The restaurant only seats about 14. Most omakases I’ve been to, the chef if usually is but more social but other than informing us on the pieces, nothing else was said. Which was fine since we had a busy day. It’s honestly a great deal for the quality you get. It’s $78 for 15 pieces. There were maybe 2 pieces that I thought weren’t great but besides that, it was delicious. If you’re looking for a quiet omakase for group more than 5, this is a good place. It doesn’t seem too busy and you’ll have a nice intimate dinner.
My first omakase experience We got the Omakase $78/ per person and it was very delicious and filling! The chefs were excellent and friendly. Cozy and near indoor space. Fish was high quality and fresh. Melt in your mouth like butter. Definitely check it out! The highlighted ones were our favorites
I would not recommend this place. It’s not an omakase experience. Chef did not interact with guests. The fish were super thin and mediocre. There’s better omakase with the same price range out there.
Really great value for a 15 course omakase! You start with an appetizer followed by 13 nigiri and a handroll! Delicious and great service.
My friend and I came for the $78 15-course omakase service. I got a sparkling yuzu drink to go with it. Everything was delicious, I had a wonderful time. I would recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to try an affordable but great omakase experience.
The staff is rude and bodyshamed me for having breasts. The fish isn’t fresh and they don’t obtain a proper alcohol license to serve liquor here. The staff is extremely rude. They use fish that is old and lacks freshness. If you care about your health don’t eat at this disgusting omakase spot.
I love sanyuu west! Their sushi and service is exceptional. I tried omakase with my boyfriend for the first time here and it definitely was the start of an expensive hobby, but totally worth it! Their prices are extremely reasonable for 15 courses (1 app, 13 nigiris, 1 hand roll). Will continue revisiting this place!
