Classic Italian-style cafe. Great croissants for breakfast, espresso served in a ceramic cup, mini biscotti, warm atmosphere. Love this place

Great place for breakfast

Costumer service could be better as the staff generally had an attitude of not wanting to be there. Then again that can be expected on a busy Sunday morning. We loved the maritozzo and the pistachio cream crepe. Great proper Italian style espressos as well. Nice place to stop by while strolling around in LIC

Had the tuna panini, thought it was lacking in amount of tuna and general flavor of the sandwich. They didn’t give me a fork to go with the little arugula salad that comes with the sandwich. Not a big deal but just a standard expectation. Also, the iced coffee is actually iced americano. However the true highlight of my experience was how bad the service was. I asked a simple question to the person behind the counter, “What would you recommend I order for lunch?” He had no response for me, just said “Like what? Like food? Drink?”Then another person with a terrible attitude was confused what the hold up was (there were no customers behind me), and came over to give me a horrible snide look, then said in an exasperated tone to get one of the meat paninis. Not sure why the service is so lacking here, especially when a customer is trying to engage with the staff and hear what they would recommend. Seems like I really inconvenienced them with my patronage.
