I came in to explore the gluten free options. I was immediately frustrated when 2 employees informed me that corn arepas, made from P.A.N Corn flour, is NOT gluten free. They kept insisting I get their plantain arepas , which is not what I wanted. P.A.N is indeed gluten free. Arepas are one of the few things that are always safe to eat since it is made from corn, not wheat. As someone with a gluten intolerance it is already hard enough to find options. To be told by the employees arepas were not gluten free baffled me. They also said their cauliflower pizzas are not gluten free.... How is that possible? Then they explained to me because "it has cheese"... Didn't get to try the food. Please make sure your employees understand what "gluten free" means. Extremely frustrating experience
