The best Peruvian lomo saltado sandwich I've ever had in my entire life!! The rocoto aoli is to die for!
First timer and I was amazed how delicious the sandwich was. Adobo sandwich was loaded with flavor and very filling. Service was great and the salsa music playing through out dining area made the atmosphere pleasant. Indoor and outdoor dining available.
What an underrated spot. I'm surprised SF Chronicle and Infatuation haven't really picked up on this spot yet. This place deserves to have lines out the door. As recommended by the head chef, I got the pan con chicharron sandwich with yucca fries with a drink. It gets messy, but the sandwich over delivers. It's the perfect balance of meaty and crispy, without being greasy. Yucca fries are super fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Sandwiches aren't unreasonably priced. At around 15-16 dollars per sandwich, it's cheaper than other hyped sandwiches in SF. Sure, with fries it hits $20+, but the fries are way better than some bag of chips you'll get elsewhere. Pleaaaase try the chicharonne sando!
First off, such kind and attentive service from the staff, though I was there at an off hour. The food is also incredibly tasty. The limo saltado sandwich delivered with all the fixings and sauce to match. The plantains were also great, and the addition of cotija cheese on top was one of the greatest takes on fried plantains I’ve ever had.
Good taste. Small portions. Had 1 veggie empanada ($10) and the saltado ($20) both small in portion for the price.
