Thank you so much for amazing food!
Incredible food! Beef curry was amazing. It was nice that it’s in the indoor part of the food hall.
Delicious Myanmar cuisine with awesome vegan options! I came to CORE food hall while I was waiting for my car to be done at the muffler shop next door, and was very happy to stumble upon Sandy’s. Vegetarian options: Chickpea tofu salad, chickpea fried tofu, and more
The food was delicious and enjoyed every bit of it! I can’t wait to try other dishes
The chef is amazing. So delicious, detail oriented, and well balanced. She checked on us to ensure quality. Great staff - both chef and the young lady cashier. Love the good vibes - kid friendly area. Kid-friendliness: Casual dining area, staff kind to kids.
So delicious, very fresh and wonderful service! Highly, highly recommend!
Incredible place, some of the best food I've ever had and such a unique culture that's so hard to find in the PNW. I got the nan gyi thoke, and someone else I know recommended the laphat thoke. I'm not from around Portland but when I visit again I'd be genuinely tempted to come all the way out to the east side again just for this place. Service can be a little slow but that's only because all the dishes are made fresh, it's very much worth the wait. The staff was super friendly and helpful to me too.
I had the GF version of the coconut noodle soup with chicken and curry. The curry was very mild - warming, not spicy. The egg in it was beautifully cooked, with a soft (but not runny) yolk. I loved it, especially the crispy fried bits on top - yellow peas or lentils, I forget which it was. Dietary restrictions: Excellent GF option on the coconut noodle soup.
