Sancha Sushi

Sancha Sushi is amazing, I’ve been here a few times, and it’s my favorite sushi place I’ve ever eaten at. I’d recommend the starters and the specials since they’re phenomenal, but the rolls are still great and better than most sushi joints. We got the butterfish and orange salmon for specials, and the Mr Herb and Pepper Tuna for rolls.

Super fun vegan sushi menu. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Hours were a bit hard to find online during the soft opening but emailing the staff works well. My friend and I got a good laugh about them not having hot water to serve instead of tea (which seems to be free and super caffeinated !) and then going to the bathroom and the sign read "extremely hot water!" I'm definitely coming back, maybe with my thermos of hot water Vegetarian options: Lots of rolls and maki. Vegan dragon roll and cherry blossom roll were the favs!

It's just really darn tasty.

Some of the best sushi in the bay area. Inventive rolls that are also delicious. Special recommendation is the Butter Unagi. Vegetarian options: They have a whole vegan section

Finally I found a high quality and reasonably priced sushi place. I got salmon kama, ahí tuna hand roll, yellow tuna and butterfish roll (mom's right), butterfish nigiri (walu), and honey butterfish (seared butterfish). I loved all. Fish is very delicious. Butterfish is my favorite and Sancha serves many types of it. Will go back. Vegetarian options: Larger vegan menu

Just had the vegan options for the heck of it so consider that caveat for this review. The vegan stuff was just not good. Felt really heavy and unhealthy and really didn't taste good. We left most of the dishes half-eaten. Our server was really nice but very busy because she was the only one in the restaurant. It's a nice place with good ambiance. Just don't do there for the vegan food.
