Good service, great food, very fair price, all in all I would return many times over
I recently dined at this Thai restaurant and was blown away by the authentic flavors they offer. The Pad Kee Mao was exceptionally spicy and delicious, just the way I like it! The customer service was top-notch, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Although I wasn't a fan of the slightly sweet Thai Chicken Fried Rice, the Pad Kee Mao Tofu was a delightful alternative. Ground noodles tasted delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine with a kick!
Simply put, Hollywood will be forever changed without the lovely experience of Sanamluang Cafe Hollywood. The food is as delicious as eating in Thailand. The portions are very large and very good value for money.
Ordered online so cant speak to the service, but the food was pretty lackluster. We got the pineapple fried rice and pad see ew. Both were bland, the fried rice especially. It didnt even really taste like fried rice, much less pineapple fried rice; just rice and cumin. We didn’t take more than a few bites. The pad see ew was a little better, but the tofu was spongey and it only contained broccoli stems, not florets. I dont usually leave bad reviews, but when I throw out delivery after just a few bites, it’s warranted. Maybe the rest of the food is fine, but if you’re seeking pineapple fried rice or pad see ew, look elsewhere.
The food here has always been consistently good. The service can be a touch slow, but I'd chalk that up to the food being made fresh and right. On this visit, the salted fish fried rice was ironically too salty. It seemed more like the whole dish was salted, not just the fish, but still tasty, and a squeeze of lime neutralized the excessive salt flavor and truly brought it back to life. The Crying Tiger (strips of beef served with a slightly spicy vinegar dip and no sides) was exactly what it was advertised to be. No complaints at all. It's definitely satisfying and delicious, but no particular wow factor. Nice and simple. I loved the thai iced coffee. There are some interesting decorations, but not to elaborate or vivid. Very much just a lunch or dinner spot or grabbing food with a friend. Nice and casual. Not on my list of places for a celebration, but if their cuisine is all you are after, then definitely seem to deliver. Parking: Small parking lot for multiple businesses and packed street. May have to drive a around a few times.
