Well, I expected better. The place was like a conveyor belt of tables. This restaurant has no atmosphere whatsoever. Table was not ready until 20 minutes after the reserved time. Went to the bar area to order drinks whilst waiting, must have been invisible. Finally caught the barman's eye to make an order and was met with "What do you want" & an eye roll, "great start", I thought. Now, whoever the owner is of this place, you are doing yourself out of money when having staff with that sort of attitude. It should not even have been myself begging for a drink, it should be, "Will be with you in a moment to take your order", I think anyway, with this type of establishment. Then we were sat at our table, no apology for the waiting, of course. This particular waiter was lovely. However, going forth, food was mediocre. The patate arrosto side dish, no seasoning, heartless. It is like the place has cooks, not chefs. No one came to ask if we wanted another drink (glasses were empty). Main course was again, heartless. You are just a number. Nothing was done with sincerity. I booked this place based upon its' rep and travelled down from Glasgow to try here when visiting Manchester, however, was certainly disappointed. Is there anywhere anymore that takes a little pride in what they do?
We visited after friends made the recommendation but left feeling disappointed. It was super busy and really noisy. The food was ok, I’ve had better and the service wasn’t great. For the price they charge they need to be on top of the service for sure. We had to ask for our bill after being left for so long without our table being cleared. When they bought the bill they still didn’t clear the table which I find poor. Multiple times we had incorrect orders and drinks bought to our table so clearly they need to spend time with staff and potentially management need to give more guidance. 2 adults and 1 child and our bill came to £190 so the service and food should have been 5 star. I wouldn’t recommend.
