1 order of chicken tacos, showed up with no chicken. Told the waiter, he went and got the chicken in a few minutes. Steak tacos were over cooked, and the tortillas come in a paper bag so they were stuck to the paper and tearing apart. Kids strips with corn and orange, came with 1 chicken strip that was inedible, corn as well as it tasted like you were eating a lime. Camerons Diabla was the only thing good. $175 very much wasted.
Great experience. Food was good, service was good. Prices were reasonable considering it was a sit down restaurant at Disney.
Among all the restaurants in all the parks we frequent this one a great deal because of the beautiful atmosphere, great service, and incredible food. This time we opted for lunch (couldn't get a reservation for dinner time) and the abbreviated menu and taste of our choices did not meet the same quality as dinner. Perhaps it was just an off day? Rey, our waiter, was the best. Great sense of humor, extremely polite and we never needed for anything.
dinning plan ,Miguel the waiter said. No. Chips or salsa, No refills on soft drinks , And no desserts ,,, I don’t know if this is truth ?????
We went here for my sister’s 21st birthday and it was lovely!! Our waitress was attentive and personable, the food was delicious and they even had a kid’s menu for my youngest sister, by request. We ordered the ribeye tacos and the chicken enchiladas. The drinks are different and delicious, the atmosphere is dreamy like being inside Caesar’s Palace but with Mexican influence, and you can take a boat ride through the restaurant afterward. So amazing!!
Very disappointed with our dinner. We both ordered Pollo a Las Rajas - a chicken dish which tasted good but the piece of chicken was smaller than what you get in a Chick-fil-A sandwich. It was served 'over a bed of potatoes and other vegetables'. I had 3 little bite sized pieces of potatoes and my wife had 2. The rest of the vegetables was about a tablespoons worth. The dinner should have been sold as an appetizer rather than an entree. In addition to the entree we had a glass of wine and a Flan for dessert. The bill with tip was $100. It's not the cost, after all it's Disney but we definitely felt like we were ripped off and will never go back to that restaurant. We had been to the restaurant in the past and it used to be good. We're are annual passholders. We were last there in January.
I spent my Birthday Lunch here with my girlfriend and close friend, the atmosphere was pretty good despite the close proximity of the tables . Kevin and I ordered Ribeye Tacos and were not pleased with the flour tortillas at all , despite everything else being fresh and full of flavor we had to speak up . Joel came by the table after we were done and did a short report of the incident and really made up for the experience. He was very thorough and detailed with his concerns and apologized for the inconvenience and pain the hard tortillas caused us . My friend currently has to schedule an appt with the dentist as a result but I could say we will be back . Joel really embodied the hospitality / safety aspect of Disney and I would re- visit the restaurant as the result of the actions he took going forward . Thank you again and I hope you all have a magical day P.S. The enchiladas de pollo are amazing !
This place is cute, but overrated. I was more disappointed in the fact that this wasn’t authentic Mexican food
