Sammy's Woodfired Pizza & Grill

A really pleasant dining experience. Great Happy Hour selections. We like the indoor "outdoor" arrangement. Parking is ok but not under Sammy's control.

Great food and ambiance.

Stopped here while charging at the Tesla Superchargers recently. Cute place, clean comfortable. I can't eat wheat or eggs and still found lots to choose from. The hubs ordered a pizza and he thoroughly enjoyed it (he says it'd score a 5 out of 5). I got the chicken lettuce wraps, which were OH SO good! The chicken was flavorful and I do believe that was Butter Lettuce served with them (whatever it was, it was WAY better than iceberg). They had a good drink selection. Our waiter was polite, helpful, and attentive. The bathrooms are clean (of course, I didn't actually see the men's but accepted the hubby's report on it) In addition to being yummy it's right beside the superchargers. We'd totally go again! I forgot to mention - 3 times I heard the manager actually THANK an employee. Three different times, three different staff members, the manager on duty said either 'thank you' or 'I appreciate you'. That made me feel good, there's nothing worse then hearing a manager put a staffer down on the floor in front of customers. Thanks for reading my review!

July 2022. My wife and I are always pleased with the food at Sammy's, on this occasion it was the same as usual. We had the fish tacos, hummus and bread and salad with chicken. The only downside was the server who acted as though he was new and unfortunately it appeared he had the whole restaurant as his responsibility. Not a good combination, but I see the responsibility for this to happen belonging to the management. We will continue to be a faithful customer. This has been one of the gems found during the pandemic. The setting is quiet, cozy, inviting and comfortable. We have always sat in the patio even last night after many restaurants opened up to in-door dining. I enjoy the way plants have been used create the patio. The food is very good. Without exception my favorite selection is the battered fish tacos or the shrimp tacos. Yeah, you might say a fish taco is a fish taco. But here it is more. the flavors come together in a bit more than mild delight. There is more saucy-ness in the sauce that provides a spicy bite for the palette. The service is exactly what I look for in a restaurant. I have been in establishments where a severs hurry you up to take your drink and food order on the first contact. Then you are lucky to see them before being asked for a check. That is one end of the spectrum. At Sammy's they are the other end of the spectrum. The servers at Sammy's are there to make your eating experience enjoyable. My assessment of the servers are how polite, friendly they are and how many times they come by to check on their customers. Sammy's servers go above and beyond always remaining interested in their customers. I could say more good about them but you need to go find out for yourself.

Great pasta and the curried cauliflower was on point. And our server - Robert - was super friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!
