Food is great, but service does not warrant a 20% service charge. Also feel like that they are trying to milk the service charge by adding stuff like bottled water, and bread that is served without being asked.

Food is good no doubt but 20% gratuities added automatically I wouldn’t mind paying if they had good service this server has attitude issues with no interest of answering any questions he don’t deserve any tips at all with good service I wouldn’t mind paying 20% or even 30 but not with this kind of service and attitude Btw couldn’t get a glass of with for our sodas in a seat down restaurant disappointed

I saw this place on Instagram and I ordered the lamb it did not disappoint. Just make your reservation and go eat..thank me later..yummmm yummmmm

After serving they never came to check for water or anything, also 20 % service charge is not acceptable. There is another one baksis kebeb i will go there.

I have visited this restaurant many times, and it was one of my favorites. However, a 20% service charge is unacceptable. It's unreasonable to impose such a charge when the restaurant only has two servers, especially considering that they're often not readily available when needed. This practice feels like a scam. To improve service quality: Teach your servers how to interact with customers respectfully. Train them on proper food handling techniques to maintain hygiene. Ensure they know how to carry and serve food and drinks without touching them with their fingers. Instruct them to be attentive to guests' needs, so customers don't have to search for assistance. By implementing these measures, customers are less likely to question the 20% service charge.

Everything I’ve tried here has been a hit! The kebab is obviously the star here but their vegetarian options extremely delicious! Also, their green sauce is my favorite!

Excellent food but a tad overpriced. Aria kebab on steinway street is a good alternative if you’re looking for the same quality food at reasonable price. Sami’s is a nice place to take a date or family.
