Every order at our table of four was done correctly and cooked to perfection! Had the lox Benedict and shared the crème brulee crepe. Wow!!! Tasty!!

My boyfriend liked his French toast but he wishes it came with whipped butter. In the cafe's defense we didn't ask if they had any in the kitchen either. I like everything about my eggs benedict but that fact that I tasted something...sour? or lemony? couldn't put my finger on it but whatever it was it was too much. I ordered a side of sausage for $5, they gave me one link, not satisfactory to my eyes but it was delicious. I guess I'm giving 3 stars cause the food was ok and so was the staff.

Food was fantastic- however, this was the only good thing about this experience. We waited for over an hour and when we came back inside, one of the hostesses audibly said to the other one that she forgot our name on the list. Upon sitting down it took another ten minutes to be greeted by our server. She didn’t put our food in for another ten minutes after taking the order. Never once were we checked on while eating. We didn’t get cheese on the sandwich we ordered and had to ask for everything- the drink we ordered 25 minutes prior, the sides of toast we ordered, the extra mug we asked for when our drink order was taken, the bill… The server didn’t even tell us her name. Food was really so good…but at what cost?

The interior decor offers no sense of ambiance whatsoever, but the food is pretty good. We got the eggs Benedict, grits, and biscuits with sausage gravy.

Great downtown Tampa breakfast joint. Friendly and attentive staff, and the Eggs Benedict was one of the best I've had. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
