Saltgrass Steak House

I visited Saltgrass in Mesquite Tx and was a little disappointed due to the the steak only. Service and side dishes were spot on. Ordered a NY Strip but got a sirloin which isn’t my choice of steak. Wished I could give a better review but I’m a NY Strip lover…

Nice place to sit outside view river with good drinks and foos.

Very good food. Range rattlers are a great appetizer. I had the chopped steak with grilled onions and grilled mushrooms and baked sweet potato.

Awesome place awesome atmosphere but most importantly Taylor V is an awesome waitress very honest told us what she thought we tried it and it was excellent……

This was our first time to Saltgrass in Lafayette. We went as a party of 4. Arriving there, it was a bit hectic due to the place being very busy. We had a reservation for a specific time. We arrived early, so we grabbed drinks at the bar and waited. At our reservation time, we were seated promptly. I highly recommend getting a reservation because the wait can be long it appeared. Trina was our server for our table. She was fantastic. She was very attentive and made sure our food/drinks came out promptly. She even made us laugh with some of her conversations, so she was very pleasant to have as a server. Our appetizers arrived in perfect harmony with the timing of our entrees. We had fried pickles and cheese dip for our appetizers. They were both fantastic. For entrees, we had the Chicken Laredo and sirloin steak. Both were perfect cooked and seasoned well. I'll definitely order those again next time I'm eating here. Overall, great atmosphere, fabulous staff, and fantastic food. Highly recommended to try out!
