Excellent dinner with family and friends.
Restaurant was lovely service was super and the food was very good. Went with a bunch of friends and we had a very nice time. No pictures sorry about that. Why not five stars? For me 4 stars is considered very good but five stars is reserved for something really special. I recommend going and enjoying but be perpared to pay. My share was $105! I ordered the salmon which was $46! It came with a small potato and a couple of veggies and maybe an 8oz piece of salmon. Ok folks we are not in manhattan and I live there so I can tell you $46 is what they charge in 5 star places there. My other friends ordered from the $40 prefixed menu but nothing appealed to me. To be fair they had a few drinks where a couple of us ordered water but please. Anyway Saltaire is worth checking out and I enjoyed my meal and experience but you will be paying top dollar for it
Happy Hour Oysters were great
Always fab...tried the grilled octopus and it was delightful.
I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Saltaire Oyster Bar and Fish House. The oysters were exceptional, the Caesar salad delightful, and the fish dishes were incredibly tasty. However, the lobster pasta lacked flavor, which was a bit disappointing. The outstanding service, though, truly made the overall experience memorable and deserving of a 5-star rating.
Satisfied service overall.
I love coming here - whether to listen to love music in the bar, or eat dinner in the dining room. The food is always fresh and the service is exceptional. We always get the Spanish octopus and steak frites, and the waiters suggestions never feel pushy. They have great drinks too - even non-alcoholic!
Let's see, - chat with oyster-oracle/owner, Les, -Marco Benevento sighting, before AMAZING oysters, prime steak fries, dessert And a sick show at the Capitol theatre... Pretty good Saturday evening, Saltaire is delightful, Pablo our waiter, THE MAN. Thank you, for a real good time....
