I heard this had a fantastic burger, and it really is amazing. Even if very pricey. Wonderfully juicy. Definitely big enough for two servings. The beef fries are overhyped, not that distinctly different but alright. Not attentive staff, which was rather annoying especially for there only being two tables occupied during lunch. No discounts for their "happy hour" for their food. Seems worth it to only go on Wednesdays for "discounts" on wine tastings. Still though, incredible burger.

Literally the best shop in Austin for meats. Their wine food is also a nice compliment to their butcher shop. Onsite food and beer selection is top-tier as well.

Came here expecting the best burger ever and was let down. Our first experience was the service when we felt like it was a burden to just arrive and be given a table. We ordered the burger, salad some appetizers and desert. The burger did have some amazing flavor but the flavor was off somehow but still good. The burger bun really threw the texture off. The Caesar salad was just not good. I took one bite and didn’t finish. The bread and butter plate and bread that was just average and it was soaked in oil. The strawberry panna cotta was tasty albeit a little dense. Lastly there is a service charge if 15%. It says on their website that this goes as a few to pay for healthcare and living wages but when I asked an employee about this she scoffed at me and had no idea what I was talking about. Also confusing because this isn’t a tip but I think I treated it like one which means I may have under tipped.

Surprisingly really disappointing :/ have heard great things but the food and service really fell short. It took us over 30 minutes to get our appetizers, which is a bit of a shock because we ordered two mini sliders and bread with butter. The sliders were tasty but the bread was quite tough, could barely pull it apart to get a piece. The entrees were decent, but not hot and the French fries were awful. Not sure it’s worth the price, especially the drinks which are outrageously priced. But, their Lambrusco is stunning. With a few tweaks it could be a great spot!

Jeez. With minor improvements this place could have five stars. Food: The food is so good, but the service is so terrible. I got a quail dish, it was around $25, it was about the amount of food of two chicken wings, It came with a squash hummus and a tiny tiny arugula salad. I'm not a big eater but it was not nearly enough food. That said, my friend got a burger and it was delicious and plenty of food. Fortunately, she let me have about a quarter of the burger. They do cook it to order and that was tasty. Gratuity: They do a really sneaky gratuity. They call it a service fee and they put it up with where the drinks and food items are on your receipt. It's 15%. And it doesn't say 15% or gratuity, you just kind of have to figure that out. I actually asked about this curious service fee, and I learned that that 15% gets distributed among of a variety of staff. If you leave a tip that goes directly to your waiter waitress server person in addition to the tip share. Really deceptive and creepy gratuity/ service fee. Not cool. Service: I must have been here at least 8 or 10 times, but the food is so good, but man, every server I've ever had there... whether I sat at the bar or a table has been t totally terrible, some of them even downright rude, if not just totally aloof. I don't know how they manage to keep the service so bad. Parking: Parking is fine, usually plenty of spaces in their lot. Meat market: Good, they have some good stuff, and the service of the meat market is always decent. It's the restaurant that's got bad service.
