Salt & Straw

As far as ice cream goes, this place was great! Super fun, unique flavors and hefty scoops for a reasonable price. The waffle cone was good- crisp and not soggy, and the entire place smelled amazing. If there was a salt and straw candle I would buy it in a heartbeat! We got one of the rotating flavors (day old banana pudding) and the cinnamon snickerdoodle which were both really good. After dinner it was packed and the line was out the door. They do allow unlimited flavor samples which is nice, but also makes the line move extremely slow. That would be my only critique, but I understand why they do it! Indoor seating is limited as were the napkins, but there’s room to sit and stand outdoors.

The gelato is fantastic! I love that they are always friendly and don’t judge if you want multiple samples! They give you big scoops! The waffle cone that they make onsite is really good! The smell of fresh waffle cones is intoxicating! Enjoy!

They let us try every flavor we wanted! Best pear with cheese and berries with coconut!
