Sal's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Great food

I've been going to Sal's in Deerfield Beach several times a year since the mid 90s. A few weeks ago I stopped by and it said it was closed for remodeling. Now it is open under Doce Vita. I walked inside, and everything was all white walls with just tables and chairs. No booths, no "old world charm" atmosphere. I took a look at the limited menu and walked out.

Ordered lunch for Broward Avian and Exotic, pizza was AWESOME !!

The grill chicken on their pizza taste awesomely delicious alongside toppings spinach and tomatoes made it worth it. You won't be disappointed dining in or take-out for pizza here

We were terribly disappointed with the pizza and food in general, once these new owners started a few years ago. The original owners when the Plaza was built, well you couldn't even get a parking spot they were so good! It's a shame... we gave them a few more tries, then gave up. We now go to All Star, around the corner.

It is a very good in traditional Italian restaurant. Has a positive recommendation they should invest on new dishes and new napkins. Unfortunately the one they have it's not the ones I normally see it makes the place feel old. But the food was great we came on a Wednesday night and the portion is huge so you may want to consider explaining it.

Great place, I was pleasantly surprised I didn't think the food would be as amazing as it was coming from a small restaurant in a plaza, but I will say I was absolutely blown away. Everything was prepared beyond expectation. The espresso was rich and delicious, too. I highly recommend this a stop if you are ever in the area.

Sooooo good. Had calzone and pizza. Service was excellent

Great pizza! The staff was great and very friendly. The atmosphere is authentic NYC Italian.
