Saito's Japanese Steakhouse

My wife and I have been here many times and have NEVER been disappointed. Last visit, we sat at the hibachi table where she ordered the filet and scallops (always a favorite), and I ordered tuna tataki along with the tempura vegetables. By far, the best tuna in SoFlo, prepared perfectly every time. Quality of ingredients sets this hibachi restaurant above the rest, in my opinion.

I had the seared scallops and vegetables. The scallops were wonderful but the veggies were all onions with slivers of peppers which were the thinness I have ever not seen. The veggies ruined the total experience .

We went to Saito's last night to have dinner. This was my second time in this place. The food was slightly above average. Their prices were inflated because the cook makes the food in front of you with a little show. The plates are made of plastic. They don't have knives on the tables. They charged me $10 for sharing my food with my baby who is not even 2 years old yet lol. The sharing charge is on the very bottom of the menu with small letters. When you are concentrating on choosing your food you will not notice it. They don't mention that it applies to babies either. All in all I think, it is NOT worth the experience. You can get much better quality food in a restaurant with a nicer set up for the same amount of money you spend.

SO GOOOOD!!! Every time I come the food is just so amazing, the service is always top notch, and the prices seem pretty reasonable.. The food is extremely fresh and so savory and delicious.. Every time I go they help me choose what I want and they’re very patient, they also check up on us often to make sure everything is good.. The shrimp tempura was really yummy and the vegetable rolls were really yummy as well! My fav place for lunch 100%
