we really like the food here!
Went for NYE - it cost about $400 for a prix fixe dinner for two and it honestly just wasn’t worth it. While the food was fine and the restaurant had a nice ambience, we didn’t walk away thinking anything about the food, presentation, or experience warranted it being $400. We came home and still felt a bit hungry. Extremely pricy for what you get.
I walked in on a Sunday evening without a reservation. Lots of tables available. I had the halibut and a glass.of sancerre. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is cozy and there would be a good date night location.
Maybe I ordered badly. Maybe I don't like old school restaurants. The appetizer menu is unimpressive. Just skip it. The entrees on the other hand are excellent. I don't know why. They don't have a modern cocktail list. Sadly. Hopefully you prefer wine.
Jules was with no doubt the best server I had in my 51 years of life. She definitely loves what she does: her personality, attention to detail and great energy made my first visit to this restaurant amazing. Everything I had was delicious. Thank you very much!
