Overall Thoughts: This takeout only spot in Seattle’s Little Saigon is small but quite chaotic with workers buzzing around you and a busy line usually forming around lunch. For $6, the banh mis are very solid and hit the spot; the bread is fresh and flakey. They also have a large selection of packaged foods and hot lunch boxes, which all looked delicious. The service is quick and efficient with no frills. They accept both card and cash. Food I tried: - Roasted pork belly banh mi (4.5/5): The pork belly was really fatty, but flavorful and delicious. The ratios of bread to pork to veggies were good. - Three kinds of ham banh mi (4.4/5): The pate was creamy and the cold cuts were tasty; this is a classic that you can’t go wrong with. - Banh cuon - prepackaged (4.4/5): Tasted good; its soft and delicate texture paired nicely with the crispy shallot toppings and delicious sauce. — Price (relative to peers): 4.6/5 Food: 4.4/5 Ambience: N/A Service: 4.5/5 Overall Value: 4.5/5

Not the cleanest place… Bánh mì tastes like perfume sometimes.

Saigon Vietnam Deli is a little store in a strip mall a few blocks up from the center of the International District. Parking here can be a pain since it shares parking with other businesses, plus there's a lot of trash in the parking lot. Inside it's just a counter and some refrigerators, so nowhere to sit. They have a massive menu, in both English and Vietnamese, so it's easy to choose from. The prices are insanely low for what you get, Bahn Mi for under $7 and it tastes delicious. They make their food in front of you which is great. Super friendly people that work here too, we've been coming here for years now and will keep coming back.

Excellent delli food, good price my favorite barbecue chicken sandwich they have a lot choices, it is my second home I have been going there for last 14 years.

Great food great price food to take out

My partner and I got some takeout banh mi sandwiches and some desserts while vacationing in Seattle. We had quick, friendly service and the food was amazing. I think the international district gets forgotten about by the city, it can be a little dirty and sketchy outside on the streets, but inside the establishments are wonderful, clean and tidy. Saigon Deli is a gem and a great place to eat.

This an "old-school" Vietnamese deli with every available space occupied. The service was friendly and helpful. We ordered two bahn mi, bbq pork and pork sausage, and a plate with pork and vermicelli. Everything was delicious, especially the bahn mi.I think our favorite was the bbq pork but the pork sausage was a close second. Looking forward to trying more dishes.
