Staff are very friendly and kind. I hope they are paid well for it!!
Went to this location after the gym and grabbed essentials. There was digital deal on chicken breast and it was from the deli. I arrived a few minutes after the deli closed and they were packing up. Brandon at the meat counter was kind enough to extend service to me and provide me what I needed without me asking. He took the time to help even though he didn’t need to, I wanted to take the time to recognize him for his customer service. Thank you Safeway and Team for making my visits pleasant.
MARY, Mary! You are so awesome! Mary cooked a hundred pieces of flawless delicious Chicken for a funeral at only a few days notice. Thank you so much for having it ready, on time and hot. We appreciated you. Also, the crew on phone and counter duty esp young man named Julian?? who took phone order and was so polite . Nice store!!
Excellent cashiers. Management tries to keep up. Sometimes a challenge considering staffing. Corporate pricing doesn't always keep up with competition from other corporate businesses such as Fry’s (Kroger), Basha's, Food City, Sprouts and even Smart and Final. Why would you price onions at $.69 EACH, when virtually every other company prices by the pound?
Update - the price gouging here is abhorrent. The merger with Kroger can never happen or this is just the beginning. I can't wait to see their record earnings. If nobody stepped in that store for a couple of weeks the prices would drop considerably. The state of this country is never going to change unless we the people do something about it, we can be the ones in control if we get off our butts. The convenience of where this is located is pretty much the only reason why I go. Their prices are higher than other grocery stores and customer service is seriously lacking.
Kim the checkout lady is extremely rude. She is condescending and just has a bad attitude. She should not be in a customer service job. She has behaved this way on multiple occasions and it upset me so much today that I had to report her to management. I will avoid her at checkout in the future.
