Nice supermarket with plenty parking spots.

Many thanks to our friendly neighborhood Kitsilano Safeway for their super service. We have lived in this neighborhood for almost 20 years. We have had very friendly service from our Kitsilano Safeway. I received friendly help with warm smile from everyone of Safeway team. There are many team members with excellent skills in Kitsilano Safeway. For examples: Andy in meat department, Jacky in account, Maria in fruit part, Natalie on flower section, David and William in casher and so on …….. Sorry I do not remember the names of everyone of team member in our friendly neighborhood Kitsilano Safeway. I would like to give every one more than 5 stars.

Clean location

I’m going to this Safeway now since many years, they are really nice but expansive, don’t get me wrong it is the same thing everywhere we go So it’s not about them particularly but more about the worldwide inflation. Anyway, I really like their fresh allée. They’re participating with the scene card situation which is nice and which can help save money in the long term. Thank you

This is a smaller version of Safeways and although it is somewhat convenient, they are often out of stock when you are looking for something particular. Best to phone them ahead of time to make sure they have what you are looking for. It is also difficult to find staff on the floor to help the customers and I noticed the training should involve being happy while working. The shelves are kind of messy and disorganized but if you want to get in and out you should be ok. They also switched the airmiles program to collecting Scene points to redeem for groceries. Sadly, it takes me a month or more to get enough points to get $10. Airmiles were disorganized but at least it was easier to collect enough for $50 a month to cash in for groceries. Scene program should be replaced if they want to have strong customer retention.
